Leo lowered his screwdriver. He looked at the ceiling and shook his head like, What am I gonna do with this guy?
“I try very hard to be annoying,” Leo said. “Don’t insult my ability to annoy. And how am I supposed to resent you if you go apologizing? I’m a lowly mechanic. You’re like the prince of the sky, son of the Lord of the Universe. I’m supposed to resent you.”

you know how in a lot of fanfics it’s always leo getting into jason’s cabin at camp half-blood? so i was thinking about this and it occurred to me that maybe it is jason who’s always in the hephaestus cabin? bc his cabin is too empty and too boring, while leo’s cabin is full of people and there’s always someone awake doing something, which means there’s always someone to talk to, and maybe the first few times jason went looking for leo his siblings told him he could wait there if he wanted to, because leo were at the bunker but he said it wouldn’t take too long (they didn’t know yet that he could spend the night there), but jason gets tired of waiting and accidentally falls asleep in leo’s bed, and leo’s siblings draw a mustache in his face and take pictures; when leo gets there and sees it, he tries to defend his best friend, by drawing a peenis in his forehead (bc leo is that mature) so he doesn’t wake jason up, he just curls around him and sleep like that; and this kinda starts happening, jason is always in leo’s cabin and he enjoys being there, bc the children of hephaestus are fun and there’s the younger campers who make him questions about the roman camp and ask him to imitate birds (son of the lord of the sky, birds are kinda his thing right), or they just start talking about their new projects, jason doesn’t unserstand most part of it so leo’s keeps whispering to him what this or that term means, and of course leo’s siblings make tons of fun of him when he asks leo about very simple things, and leo starts interacting with them more bc jason wanna stay there but he doesn’t see a point if leo isn’t there too, and leo’s like “it’s ok dude they’re already used to you, you’re part of the family now, you can stay” “i’m in your cabin with your brothers and sisters without you? that’s a little weird” “so what? we’re weird people” but leo stays anyway, and chiron tries to remember them that they should sleep in their own cabin before other campers would start doing the same “i dont even wanna think about the mess i’ll need to handle if the stolls start hanging with the hecate’s kids even more” but jason only sleeps in his own cabin when thalia comes to visit
